How to add IMAP email account to Outlook 2003

1 Before you begin

• You should know your own email address and password. If not sure, try login via WebMail (How to open Web Mail)
• Your computer should be already connected to Internet. (What is POP3 and IMAP? which one should I use?)

2 Add IMAP account to Outlook 2003

• Open Microsoft Outlook 2003
• Click Tools > Email Accounts

• Select Add a new e-mail account
• Click Next

• Select IMAP
• Click Next

• Input your own information (replace example.com with your own domain name)

• Click More Settings...
• Open Outgoing Server tab
• Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
• Choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server

• Open Advanced tab
• Change Outgoing server (SMTP) to 587

• Click OK
• Click Next

• Click Finish
